Hello,

I've lost a pair of prescription sunglasses recently, just wondered if anyone has found any near the pitches adjacent to ruskin drive. They are made by osiris, with orange arms and in a specsavers case.

Thanks

Keith Dawber

Massive congrats to a couple of the under 10s boys- Bailey and Jack on their successes in this weekends Premier League 5 aside tournament in Manchester where some sintalating stuff was played. Convincing victories and performances against top quality opposition including Man City, Blackburn, Bolton, Wolves and Wigan whilst representing Burnley. WELL DONE LADS it was a pleasure to witness the skill, team play and numerous great goals even with a few injuries too. You made us very proud and hope it continues into the rest of this season where the standards in the U10 league have also been very high...

Big congratulations to 4 players in the Under 12's 'A' team on successfully overcoming the trials and gaining representative honours with The Warrington Inter League team. The boys are Alex Pettersen, Kalvin Brownbill, Ryan Woods and Scott Woodward, your parents, coaches and team mates are very proud of you. Represent yourselves and our club at all times with distinction and fair play. The very best of luck boys. Paul.

Another one bites the dust ! Only 5 league outings in 4 months leaves our squad totally frustrated. BUT, on a positive note, we still have 15 league matches left to play, which is a lot of football. Weather and pitches permitting, we will play 3 of the top 4 during January in Woolston 'A', Southside 'A' and Fife 'A' along with Winstanley 'A' whose league position does not reflect their ability to give their opposition problems. We need to hit the ground running in 2010 starting from the 10th January. Paul.
