First match of the season saw saints face Billinge away and what a sorry state the pitch was in mostly water logged But the team took to it like ducks to water and in no time after making a quick series of fast passes saw michael score via a deflection from a superb shot from joseph 1-0 next saw jack flash past the defenders to blast in the second 2-0 all the time billinge  putting up a good defence but not good enough to stop josh storming through with help from adam ,kai and connor to make it 3-0 at half time james also made some very good saves when saints defence was caught napping, second half saw saints go straight on the attack and after some magic passing the ball found luke and not wanting to wait around in the mud he drove it into the back of the net 4-0 with only a few more mins of play left joseph beat the best of billinges defenders to strike a sound shot past the goal keeper to make it 5-0 full time what a start to the season
