Saints Defeat Plucky Earlestown
By Darren Young.

It's not ideal but Earlestown only played with nine men which was more frustrating for Saints as the first half display was a bit hit and miss.  A John Delaney goal and several missed chances was all we had, going into half time against a very hard working Earlestown.  With Saints numerical difference there were probably too many players pushing forward at the same time.  The second half was much better and eventually Saints started to take the chances with Keiran Hackett slotting two well taken goals especially the second goal which he took a through ball from the half way line and superbly slotted past the keeper.  John Delaney added a fourth and Keiran Colquitt added the fifth for Saints.  Saints had two or three players missing but the players who came in did very well.

MOM was Keiran Hackett who took his chances very well.  Doesn't always get a start but when he does he never lets anyone down.

MOE was Liam Rimmer who won every ball and layed it off simply to start more attacks and also Ben Waring always looked to pass to team mates at every opportunity and looks to be an unsung hero in midfield.

Another three points and with games getting fewer you never know we might just make it for promotion?

Well done (Derby handover Darren Young)
